HBi Database

What is the HBI database? The HBI database by HBimed is a comprehensive collection of normative reference EEG data and helps (neurofeedback-) therapists in the assessment and evaluation of the data of their own patients. HBI database contains not only spectral data but also data of evoked potentials with very high signal-to-noise ratios, which results in unparalleled statistical significance.

The difference to traditional databases is that the HBI database by HBimed considers the latest evaluation methods (eg the decomposition of EEG and evoked responses into independent components, and LORETA - Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography).

The HBImed HBI database is based on the method that was developed at the Human Brain Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Experimental Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. This method won the State Prize of the USSR and is officially recognized as a unique discovery in the field of human physiology. The database is now used in many scientific centers worldwide and in hospitals and clinics in Europe and the USA.
