Neurotherapy

What is neurotherapy? In a form of neurotherapy - also known as neurofeedback or EEG Biofeedback - the patient´s brain is trained towards better function. It is assumed that the cause for many disorders is a dysregulation of brain function that can be corrected by neurotherapy.
A successful neurotherapy with neurofeedback normally consists of at least 15 sessions, after which the brain ideally has permanently changed it´s function so that the symptoms (such as migraine or sleep disorders) are reduced or have even completely disappeared.
Scientific studies have shown that such a neurotherapy could achieve at least as good results in the treatment of attention deficit disorder (ADD / ADHD) as a drug treatment with Ritalin.
Often, through neurotherapy, the permanent taking of specific medication can be avoided.
There are many more applications for neurofeedback. Whether with top athletes, musicians, managers or elderly people: You can train almost every brain towards better function with neurofeedback.
